About Tony Martinez School of Golf
Tony Martinez School of Golf is located 40 minutes southwest
of Fort Worth at Hidden Oaks Golf Course in historic
Granbury, Texas and now at Keeton Park Golf Course in
the heart of Dallas. Tony and his professional staff
provide private lessons, clinics, video analysis and on
course instruction for all levels of golf. Our mobile
abilities have increased our boundaries as far as Colorado,
California, Florida and Central Mexico.
Tony Martinez grew up in Tucson, Arizona and took up golf at
the age of eight. He attended Grand Canyon University in
Phoenix on a golf scholarship and graduated in 1991 with a
degree in Communications. His professional career in golf
started at Pine Top Country Club in Northern Arizona where
he served as Assistant Pro for the ’91 season. He then
returned to his home course, Fred Enke Municipal, where he
went from Assistant Pro to interim Head Pro in less than two
years. Tony earned his Class A Membership in the PGA in
1994 and was promptly recruited to help create the Signature
Golf Academy at the Tournaments Players Club Starr Pass in
Tucson. He took his first job as Head Pro for the city of
Eloy, Arizona in 1996. In less than a year he was recruited
by one of his mentors to help develop and operate Hidden
Oaks Golf Course in Granbury, Texas. During his tenure,
Tony’s passion for teaching helped him create Tony Martinez
School of Golf. His students range from juniors to college
and professional level players. Tony is a recognized leader
and a true ambassador for golf. He currently sits on the
Board of Directors for the Northern Texas PGA and is the
NTPGA Junior Golf Committee Chairman. He was the recipient
of the prestigious Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Leader
award at both the Chapter and Section levels in 2005 and
2007. Tony has recently been awarded a contract with the
City of Dallas to manage Keeton Park Golf Course. His
instruction programs are available at both Hidden Oaks and
Keeton Park.
